Understanding Water Wells on a rural property

Here is short understanding of how water wells work on a rural property. Most homes have a municipal water source provide by your city. But for those properties located outside the city limits, often you have to have your own secured water source. This Paso Robles ranch is about 20 minutes from town so having it's own water source is necessary. This 130 acre ranch actually has two water wells that pump up to storage tanks located at the top of the property. Then that water is gravity fed to different outputs. Understanding water wells is pretty basic but every well is difference and it is extremely important to understand your well if you live on a rural property.
